Recapping 2020 – Tama Style!

Hey Tama-Lovers! Can you believe we’re already wrapping up 2020?

It was definitely a crazy year to say the least, but we’re so grateful to have spent it alongside all of our loyal Tama supporters! ?

2020 has been a year of epic launches and collaborations! From PAC-MAN Tamagotchi, Tamagotchi On Wonder Garden, Hello Kitty® Tamagotchi, Demon Slayer Tamagotchi, Evangelion Tamagotchi and our many new OG Tama designs, we’ve certainly stayed busy!

So let’s take a trip down memory lane…shall we?

January 2020

To commemorate PAC-MAN’s 40th birthday celebration, we launched the PAC-MAN Tamagotchi device! You can raise and nurture your Tamagotchi character with the help of PAC-MAN! The device also includes many iconic features such as PAC-MAN specific games, food items, mazes etc. Can you say WAKA WAKA WAKA 10x fast?! ?

June 2020

Then Tamagotchi On Wonder Garden was announced! Coming in lavender and turquoise colors, the Wonder Garden device includes a number of new, special features! Fans everywhere we’re so excited about this launch…even celebrities like Jimmy Fallon! Check out Tama’s debut on Fallon!

July 2020

The Demon Slayer Tamagotchi device made their first pre-order debut in July & anime fans around the world went wild! You can now raise your own Demon Slayer, the Tamagotchi way, and these devices have proven to be a hit!

The Demon Slayer Tamagotchi first introduced three different styles of slayer: Nezukotchi Demon Slayer Tamagotchi, Tanjirotchi Demon Slayer Tamagotchi, and exclusively at Amazon the Kisatsutaitchi Demon Slayer Tamagotchi.

Fast forward to November with the introduction of two MORE devices, Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira, making it a total of five models for the Demon Slayer line… and we’re not done! Stay tuned to our social channels for more Demon Slayer Tamagotchi news!

October 2020

To kickoff Q4 in style, we partnered with Sanrio® to launch the Hello Kitty Tamagotchi! It comes in 2 shell designs; a white shell with Hello Kitty’s red bow and whiskers, and a red shell that’s covered in Hello Kitty’s favorite things. Are you a Hello Kitty fan?

November 2020

Next on the list…The Evangelion Tamagotchi! Available in the colors of the series’ core cast of mecha pilots, Shinji, Rei and Asuka. You can raise your own sweet little angel from a fetus into one of more than 20 types of Angels!

And to end it off, let’s bring it back to the basics! The OG Tama you loved back in the 90’s is back with fresh new colors. In the Fall we released four new colors, Neon, Sprinkles, Heart and Sky, you can raise your Tamagotchi character from egg, to child, to adult with these new shell designs!
